A Democrat Who Gets It

Partisanship be damned. If a Dem goes forward and says what needs saying, I want to be the first in line to shake his hand. Dov Hikind is such a man.

JERUSALEM – A New York politician visiting Israel on a solidarity mission announced he is forming a national coalition to petition the United States government against supporting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's plan to withdraw from Judea and Samaria, the biblical Jewish territories now known as the West Bank.

"It is absurd that the American taxpayers should fund a plan that will ethnically cleanse an area of Jews by expelling tens of thousands of Jews from their homes," stated Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn.

"And why should U.S. citizens whose government is in the midst of fighting a war on terror pay to help establish what will clearly become a center for global jihad after Israel evacuates?" Hikind said.

From the mouth of a democrat to my ears. Wow. If all dems spoke like this I'd run out and become a registered donkey tomorrow.

Alas, he is but a lonely democrat in a sea of leftwing, arab concessionists. That said, what guts this guy must have to come out and say this against the dem's ironclad, Sheehan/Moorer/Deaniac ring of hatred for Israel and its accompanying "Jewish lobby", that, as we all know, is clearly running America's foreign policy when not taking virgin gentile blood for our Passover matzos.

Good for you, Dov! Yashir Koach!

  1. I guess Brooklyn is a constituency that demands this Zionism. Glad to see this guy say what needed to be said, nonetheless. Now we just need to get it through W's thick skull.

  2. The guy is pandering to his "Jewpremacist" base, just like Big Right said. The Democrats will never be like this guy, and the Settler fanatics will be expelled as they should have been a long time ago.

Olmert may be bad economically, but he is doing the right thing by giving the palestinians some of their land back.

  3. Dov Hinkind has always been a good man. Back in the day he was a leader in the JDL and he has always been a follower of Rav Kahane.

To the Goy dana, once the religious Jews become the majority in Israel as we will because of our higher birth rate then we will give the Arabs a choice, get out or die.

  4. KL- Isn't it funny how the leftists think they are winning, but are aborting themselves into extinction? While those of us who believe in G*D have children that we love and are grateful for! The shallow end of the gene pool is nonbreeding themselves out of the way. And I think Olmert is a fool, along with those who support him.
Good morning all and G*D's peace upon all!

  5. Big Right, the reports I've read indicate W will not endorse Olmert's unilateral retreat. He approves of the expulsions, mind you, just not unilaterally redrawing borders.

I agree with that - the Land of Israel cannot be redrawn as if it were outlined in pencil. The borders are all ours...every inch belonging as an eternal inheritance to B'nai Yisrael. No compromises, co concessions - period.

I also agree with Olmert's unilateralism; only in reverse.
Unilaterally throw out the Palestinian squatters and we'll finally have peace in The Land.

  7. Olmert is a self-loating Jew. Why did Israelis vote him in? The violence will never stop until the adherants of the religion of peace are wiped off the map. Israel could drown itself into the Mediterranean and the wahabbi's would still want Jews dead. When will they ever learn? Did the violence stop after the Gaza was given back?

  8. Strength forces the bully to back off! Churchill was right, they are either at our throats or at our feet! Preferably feet, it's safer for us and them!

  9. Florian, most Israelis are hellenized now, and suffering from a severe case of knee jerk liberalism, so what can you expect?
I respect the fact that they live in the LAnd, but do not respect the way they are treating it.
