Yom Hashoah

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day, recollecting the time just over 60 years ago when the world stood by and watched as the Jews were slaughtered by the millions. The popular phrase for Jews to use when reflecting on the depravity of the Holocaust is "Never Again!"

However, "again" is indeed coming just around the corner just 6 decades later - this time with a towel on the head instead of a swastika band on the arm - yet, none of the lessons from yesterday's Nazis seem to have penetrated into the psyches of the majority of the Jewish people, most of whom are leftists determined to repeat modern history's greatest mistake.

Rather than emulate the lesson from Winston Churchill to fight the evil enemy at all costs, to the last man if necessary, the Jewish people are largely following the lessons of one of history's most deplorable concessionists: Neville Chamberlain. This is in part because Am Yisroel is still so overwhelmingly assimilated and Hellenized, just like the German Jews of the 1920's (who thought of themselves as "Germans born of Jewish derivation"), causing them to fall once again for the delusion that the old strategy of appeasement is the best way to deal with Nazi moslem vermin.

Today, perhaps, the full reincarnation of Chamberlain himself appears before our eyes in the form of Israel's cowardly, effeminate new Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert. Olmert was one of the key prime movers of the calamitous Gaza retreat and expulsion, and the heretic who ordered the brutally violent pogrom against the Jewish civilians in the Judean town of Amona.

Having just successfully run for office under a "land for peace" concessionist banner nearly indistinguishable from Chamberlain's appeasement of Hitler policies prior to WWII, Olmert pledges to make Judea and Samaria Judenrein, plus cede half of Jerusalem, and give it all away to the moslems with the insane hope that it somehow will make them, and the rest of the world, somehow like the Jews and Israel better. All of Israel who voted to allow this self-loathing government into power are culpable for the tragedies that are surely about to unfold.

It is this disturbing reality that made Olmert's speech to the nation today seem so much chutzpah. Here's what he said:
(Ynet News) -"The lesson of World War II is that appeasement, concessions, and weakness are a recipe for a holocaust," he said. "As a Jew, I always carry in my heart the seal of pain over the Holocaust of my brothers and sisters, but I'm proud for being the archenemy of Nazi evil."
I'm sure the 9,000 expelled Jews from Gush Katif, who still largely remain homeless and hungry 6 months after Sharon and Olmert had them ripped from their homes just because they were Jewish, found Olmert's disingenuous speech to be downright obscene.

Never again? I'm not so sure.

  1. Sigh... those folks from Gush Katif oughta just come here.
I mean, if Israel is gonna treat em that way they would be better off with us, and lots of people here would gladly help em out (including me).
Having been through Katrina, and being still in recovery 9 months later, I can almost relate (though obviously the bitterness can't compare).
I maintain the website for my best friend's synagogue ( http://www.northshorejewish.org ) and I know they would have open arms.

  3. RWM, you are a good man. Consider Gaza to be Israel's self imposed Katrina...pretty insane, huh?

RWM is right. Since Israel's leaders (and leftist Jews who seem to be the overwhelming majority) are hell-bent on pressing the self-destruct button, it is insanity for the genuine Jews to be carted off to the gas-chambers yet again unresistingly. They should immigrate to USA (1st preference due to the right to bear arms, a right which is not present in the EU) and other countries, and gird themselves up for the coming struggle to the extent possible.

MZ: I keep wondering, why doesn't Olmert get divine wrath heaped on him?

    Yes, yes, yes!

As I've mentioned before, I'm not Jewish. But since 9/11, I've educated myself as to what atrocities Israel has to endure (I already knew about the Holocaust, of course--I am not retarded!).

I still can't get over all the anti-Semitism, both overt and covert, and right here in the United States. I thought that kind of hate was over. I was wrong. Evil continues, doesn't it? Under different guises, but continues.

A few months ago, a swastika was painted on a house here in my neighborhood--right across the street from my house. I couldn't believe it! Here? Other neighbors weren't much concerned: "Just teen vandals," they said. Talk about ostriching!

  6. moral relativism at work again, aow. when i hear a parent say, "well, you know, kids will be kids..." it makes my blood boil. there are a few parents who want their "kids" to be more than typical. "they all do it" is not a very good reason for bad behavior. my own children are called "jew lover" and other various names by CHURCH kids for crying out loud. my son will question them, "are you a christian? did you know Jesus is a jew?"

there is so much hatred out in the world, i'm amazed that my children have made it this far and thank G-d every day for their clearheadedness (is that a word?).

it's up to you, people - no bellyaching about supporting the palis if you are not supporting a decent charity. it works!

  8. This is what the "Islamic Thinkers Society" had to say at their rally in New York this past Friday:

Leader (in Arabic): "With our blood and our lives we will liberate al Aqsa!"

[The rest also respond in Arabic:] "With our blood and our lives we will liberate al Aqsa!

Israeli Zionists What do you say? The real Holocaust is on its way"

    "Takbeer!"

    Response: "Allahu Akbar!"

    "Takbeer!"

    Response: "Allahu Akbar!"

"Zionists, Zionists You will pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!

Israeli Zionists You shall pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!

The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real Holocaust is on its way!"

"Israel won't last long ... Indeed, Allah will repeat the Holocaust right on the soil of Israel"

    "Takbeer!"

    Response: "Allahu Akbar!"

They should all be shot. What if a group of Republicans rallied outside a Democrat's office chanting for the genocide of all the world's liberals? Or, a group of Christians demonstrating in front of CAIR calling for the extermination of the moslems? Think that would be tolerated?

Actually, that should be. The moslems are vermin, and anyone who pledges allegiance to that ideology must face deportation - or death if they refuse. Membership to Islam should be a capital crime.

It seems that stupidity is rampant in this world of ours! Sometimes I just want to scream, pull my hair out, hit people upside the head with an iron skillet... Then I remember that I am an adult, still frustrated. But, I read the end of the Book, G*D wins! I comfort myself with that, often!

Every woman needs her signature, iron skillets are what I cook with, they're handy!

  14. This may sound strange but the Armenian Genocide has some odd hints about the future. The original Young Turks were secularist who dreamed of a Pan Ottoman future. This did not occur so pan Ottomanism went into the toilet and Islam was used as the guise to eliminate the Greeks , Armenians and Assyrians.

pan Arabism failed so now we see Isamonazism and the Christians are fleeing. The future does not look good at all.

Nanc-Have some Wagner Ware from Sidney(vintage), well seasoned! You are quite correct about what are you living for! Me I'm looking for the Messiah and HIS reign, what is happening here and now is only temporary, a test as it were. The absolute stupidity of Israeli politicians says something to me about thier focus, which is very narrow and short sighted! Misha, over at AIR has an excellant link to Focus on the Family and an interview with William Meyer(Delftsman 3's father) and how he was arrested for being a bicycle courier for Corrie Ten Boom, also an interview with an author who grew up under Hitler and the persecution policy against Christians and the parallels with what is happening in the USA! Nothing new under the sun, unfortunately.

If and when the time comes I will do my part because I have to. Like most people I love life but not all of us share this value. There are things worth fighting for and freedom is one of them
