Gaza operation continues, 2nd kidnapping confirmed

The Gaza operation "Summer Rain" continues today, as IAF jets have struck moslem targets to the north and south of Gaza knocking out additional power stations. The majority of IDF tanks and land forces, however, still remain mobilized at the Gaza border awaiting orders as of this writing.

Meanwhile, the second kidnapping of a Jew by the "Palestinians" in Samaria has been confirmed. He is still being held hostage at this time.

Arutz Sheva News - The Popular Resistance Committees announced that it is holding its second Israeli kidnapping victim - Eliyahu Asheri, 18, of Itamar - and said it would execute him if the IDF does not quit Gaza.

This morning, a PRC spokesman made this announcement: "I declare for the first time that the kidnapped Zionist that Israel is looking for is the same settler we are holding. He is a soldier in a Zionist military college, 18.5 years old, and his name is Eliyahu Pinchas Asheri." The terrorists later released, from Gaza, a video showing a photo of Eliyahu's identity card; the original card is assumed to be in Samaria, with the kidnappers.

Olmert has said little or nothing about the second abduction. Perhaps it's because the victim lives in Samaria, and is therefore considered "expendable" by the concessionist Israeli government of Neville Olmert?
