Kadima's Livni campaigns for concessions

With Ehud Olmert's polling support among Israelis now at a comically low 3 percent, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni has her sites set on supplanting him as the head of the Kadima party. How does she intend to rally public support behind her? Is she speaking about ending Olmert's pattern of capitulation and weakness towards the Arabs? Well...

Ynet News: "To sustain the state of Israel as a Jewish nation we will have to give up parts of the land of Israel, and to sustain the state of Israel as a safe nation we will put Israel's security at the center of any process," said Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Sunday at the dedication of the 'Kadima House' in Tel Aviv.

Amazing to think that despite all of Olmert's tragic embarassments at the hands of the advancing islamic menace, most notably his outright defeat in war following the kidnappings of Israeli soldiers at the Gaza and Lebanon borders, and the brutal, non-stop shelling of Israel's Gaza border cities from the towns that had been Jewish before Olmert and Sharon's ethnic cleansing of Gaza, the platform of his rival at Kadima STILL campaigns on giving more land concessions to the moslems!

Madness. I can't believe that projecting even greater weakness towards the moslems is the political strategy for the Kadima scum. Are Israelis really upset that Olmert hasn't capitulated FAST ENOUGH for them?
