Moslem MK calls for global boycott of Israel

Just days after a moslem cabinet minister publicly rejected Hatikva (Israel's national anthem) because it's "too Jewish", a moslem member of knesset has called for an international boycott of Israel for failing to expel the Jews from Judea as quickly as the arabs would like.

(IsraelNN.com) An Israeli-Arab Knesset Member has issued a call for a global boycott of Israel. Left-wing MKs passed a bill to establish an Arabic-language academy in Israel with the hope of encouraging moderation.

Israeli-Arab MK Taleb a-Sana (United Arab List) called upon the world to boycott the Jewish state Tuesday.

"The Israeli government is self-righteous and is not evacuating the illegal settlers from Hevron,” a-Sana said. “It is thereby trampling international agreements and rights and the international community should positively consider boycotting Israel, which is endangering the stability of the region."
