My meeting with Dr. Aryeh Eldad
Last night I had the pleasure and privilege of spending an evening with Dr. Aryeh Eldad, MK National Union Party, at a small parlor meeting in the home of a friend. His party in Knesset is the only one currently which opposes making any land concessions to the arabs. Dr. Eldad is a world-class physician who specializes in treating burn victims, and had a decorated military career in the IDF, advancing all the way to the level of Brigadier General. Recently, he has helped launch the Amichai youth movement to advance Zionism and educate the kids about of the the Land of Israel's rich Jewish history.
I have to say that Dr. Eldad is an exceptionally approachable, passionate and genuine man. He doesn't sugar coat or pull any punches like American politicos usually do. Also, unlike the vast majority of today's national Zionists, he is completely secular in both style and appearance. What he clearly seems to be hoping to do is make more secular Jews see that they can be in favor of policies of a Greater Israel (the Land of Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea), too, without feeling they don't belong in the movement. This is a very, very difficult task, however, as the evening would eventually help to demonstrate.
The gathering included mostly liberal leaning Jews who get knee-jerk offended by any suggestions of transferring the Palestinians to Jordan and declaring Israel a state where only Jews can be citizens. They were polite and quiet, for the most part, that is until MZ riled things up after the lecture was over - but more on that later.
Here are some of the very interesting points that Dr. Eldad offered during our shmoozing and Q/A periods.
MZ: Dr. Eldad, about the fractured status of the rightwing in Israel - what can be done to improve it's chances of ever gaining a majority?
Dr. E: The best we can hope for right now, in the next elections, is to have Netanyahu win a majority that depends on our party for a coalition majority. If that happens we can drive policy in the right direction.
MZ: Bibi? He has hardly been a rightwinger towards the arabs. In fact, Likud today is virtually indistinguishable from Labor in how they approach the moslem problem.
Dr. E: True, but Netanyahu is weak and maliable. When we were voting on the disengagement from Gaza, Sharon sat like a rock for six hours waiting for his votes to come through, while Netanyahu ran around sweating and panicked not knowing what to do. He literally changed his position four times. He is weak and can be pushed to whichever is the stronger political tide. If we on the right have the stronger political influence, he will fall into line with us. We can use his weakness to our advantage.
MZ: What do you think about Ehud Olmert?
Dr. E: He is going to go down soon. He has been caught so deep in corruption that nothing can save him. The Winograd Commission will be reporting their results within the next two weeks on how he mishandled the war in Lebanon, and at that point there will be new elections. He is a criminal and must be run out of politics permanently, if not sent to prison.
MZ: How is your broken arm feeling since you were attacked by Olmert's police in Amona?
Dr. E: It was actually not broken, what they did was grab me by the thumb and twist it back as far as they could until they heard it snap causing serious ligament damage.
MZ: My God...I can't even imagine. In America that's like a Senator being beaten at the order of the President. I remember seeing the pictures of Effie Eitam bloodied up badly, too. Do you think that Olmert will still try and expel the Jews from Judea and Samaria and divide Jerusalem?
Dr. E: No. His popularity rating is right around the percentage of fat in lowfat milk [he's at 3% in the latest popularity polls] and will not be able to call for anything like that while he is so weak. Besides, now the polls reveal 59% of Israelis think retreating from Gaza was a terrible mistake, and without popular support Olmert can do nothing. I also told Emir Peretz to his face: If you try to remove even a single settlement from Judea or Samaria, what you saw in Amona will seem like nothing compared to the uprising that you will face if you dare attempt such a thing.
MZ: What must be done to turn the political tide and make the rightwing a force again in Israel?
Dr. E: Today, of the new soldiers entering the IDF 50% have NEVER BEEN TO JERUSALEM! Keep in mind, we are not talking of America where someone from Oregon may have never made it to Washington DC because of the great distance. In Israel, over 70% of the population lives within 1 hour of Jerusalem! Our worst enemy is not the left or the arabs right now, it is apathy. We need to instil pride in Zionism back to our youth, because we cannot survive if people think the work ended when Israel became a state and now we can just relax.
MZ: What do you believe must be done to solve the arab problem in Israel?
Dr. E: First of all, you must understand that the two state solution is dead. The arabs don't want it, we don't want it, nobody wants it. However because Sharon pushed President Bush into accepting his desire to give them a State of their own in Judea, Samaria and Gaza we have to listen to Condolizza Rice come and talk to us about that plan. It is absolutely dead.
So, we can either just have a multinational state of all of its people that is not Jewish, and if the Arabs manage to eventually vote the Jews out, fine, or we must do something else entirely. The only solution to keeping the state Jewish is to make all of the land West of the Jordan river Jewish and the land east of the river Palestine. We will make it attractive for all sides financially, make the transfer beneficial to them for jobs and income, and then we'll be able to have peace.
Those arabs who do not want to leave Israel, and are not criminals of the state, will be able to stay as residents but they will not be citizens. Ctizenship is only for Jews. These arabs can vote for elections in Jordan/Palestine as visitng resident citizens currently out of their country. This is the only way.
MZ: Thank you so much, Dr. Eldad! You were fantastic, and speaking with you has been an incredible honor.
Now, after Dr. Eldad was finished with the lecture we all resumed coffee and shmoozing. At this time, I began a conversation with a wonderful, brilliant friend of the family and another friend of his who I've never met, about Dr. Eldad's discussion and his policies. WHAM! They began right off the bat with "he's a rightwing extremist, his positions will never be tolerated by Israelis, his agenda is crazy, yada, yada, yada...
Now, I asked right away why would they say that?
"Oh, because you can't just shove them on cattle cars and ship them out. You want them on cattle cars leaving at gunpoint?"
I responded by saying, "Well, if you mean me in the singular I'd personally be thrilled to be pointing my gun at the moslems and forcing them out of Israel, and I'd have no problem at all killing every single one of them who tried to forcibly to resist."
Then I was told how it is only the tiny minority of moslems who are bad, and how moslems really just want to make a living and build white picket fences and don't want to hurt anyone, yada, yada, yada...
So, I took it upon myself to ask them: "Why are you so bigoted against moslems? Aren't they just like everyone else in that they have pride? Don't you think they all believe the land is rightfully arab and that the Jews stole it from them? Don't you think that they stand for more than just a picket fence and they want that land for themselves at least as much as Jews want it for ourselves? You think they renounce their claim to the country because of a picket fence?
"No! If anything, they want it MORE than we do! Our brethren in Israel are so apathetic and tired of conflict that they are willing to just resign themselves to defeat, while the moslems are willing to do anything, whatever it takes, to take it back for themselves. You think they like knowing the land they claim is theirs is called a Jewish state? That their national anthem is Hatikvah? That they like the Mogan David on their national flag? They may not say it to your face all of them, but not one of them likes it and all of them would throw us into the sea in a heartbeat to get the land back they say belongs to them.
"We either will fight for it like it is the most important thing to our existence or we shall cease to exist. When two sides say one thing belongs to them, it is resolved only when one of the two are defeated. As long as we keep giving our property away we are being beaten and they are winning. We must annex all of the land west of the river, take away their citizenship, and give them a country east of the river, period. They must go if we hope to stay."
At this point Dr. Eldad was turning beat red with anger overhearing my argument with these guys, and came over with guns blazing. Let's just say by the time he was done tearing apart their arguments the only thing left was a few cleared throat chuckles, a sheepish acceptance of the idea on their parts, and a feeling of great satisfaction and pride on my part!
In the end, we all parted as friends. But, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life going toe-to-toe in a political fight, with Aryeh Eldad standing right beside me, shoulder-to-shoulder, as an ally who had my back. I'll never forget it.

Kadima's Livni campaigns for concessions
Ynet News: "To sustain the state of Israel as a Jewish nation we will have to give up parts of the land of Israel, and to sustain the state of Israel as a safe nation we will put Israel's security at the center of any process," said Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Sunday at the dedication of the 'Kadima House' in Tel Aviv.
Amazing to think that despite all of Olmert's tragic embarassments at the hands of the advancing islamic menace, most notably his outright defeat in war following the kidnappings of Israeli soldiers at the Gaza and Lebanon borders, and the brutal, non-stop shelling of Israel's Gaza border cities from the towns that had been Jewish before Olmert and Sharon's ethnic cleansing of Gaza, the platform of his rival at Kadima STILL campaigns on giving more land concessions to the moslems!
Madness. I can't believe that projecting even greater weakness towards the moslems is the political strategy for the Kadima scum. Are Israelis really upset that Olmert hasn't capitulated FAST ENOUGH for them?

Moslem MK calls for global boycott of Israel
(IsraelNN.com) An Israeli-Arab Knesset Member has issued a call for a global boycott of Israel. Left-wing MKs passed a bill to establish an Arabic-language academy in Israel with the hope of encouraging moderation.
Israeli-Arab MK Taleb a-Sana (United Arab List) called upon the world to boycott the Jewish state Tuesday.
"The Israeli government is self-righteous and is not evacuating the illegal settlers from Hevron,” a-Sana said. “It is thereby trampling international agreements and rights and the international community should positively consider boycotting Israel, which is endangering the stability of the region."
Oh, it's just getting better and better with every passing day, eh? This disease must be removed from the body before the body is eaten alive. Only problem? The disease has traveled to the body's brain, causing it to crave the disease and reject all efforts to expel it from the body. Without an intervention to force the necessary treatment, the host will eventually be wholly consumed by the virus and be killed.
Oh, and the leftist ministers also voted through a proposal to build an ARABIC UNIVERSITY in Israel as a "good will gesture" to the moslems?
Is there a doctor in the house?

Moslem cabinet minister rejects Hatikva
Well, once again we see how right he was...
(IsraelNN.com) Israel's first Muslim Arab Minster of Science, Culture and Sports, Raleb Majadle, refuses to sing Israel's national anthem, HaTikvah.
Majadle, a long-time member of the Labor party defended his decision, saying he does not believe that “enlightened and sane Jews” would request a Muslim to sing a song which speaks to the Jewish people. “The Arabs are not in a mood to sing right now,” the Arab minister in Israel's government commented.
The new minister said in an interview with the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, “To the best of my knowledge, the law does not require me to sing the anthem, but to honor it."
He said he expresses his respect by standing up when the anthem is sung. "Of course I would not sing the anthem in its current form."
While liberal, self-loathing Jews like Ehud Olmert have no problem appointing moslems to the cabinet who reject Israel's national anthem for being "too Jewish", others members in knesset are not so happy about it.
Jerusalem Post - MK Zvi Hendel (NU/NRP) on Sunday called for all Arab MKs to be evicted from the Knesset, following comments over the weekend by Science, Culture and Sport Minister Ghaleb Majadle - Israel's first Arab minister - that he would not sing "Hatikva" because it was the Israeli national anthem.
"How many more times will we take the Arab MKs spitting in our faces and insist on pretending that it's raining?" Hendel demanded. "The Arab MKs, who continue again and again to fearlessly incite against the Jewish people, its symbols and its holy places, and cooperate with the most bitter and hateful enemy must get out of the Knesset..."
The only logical, rational resolution to this is that the moslems all must go. Think about it, if the MOST educated, enlightened and tolerant moslems of them all, the ones who actually serve in Knesset - and even hold cabinet positions! - will not sing Hatikva, than we know that there is not a single moslem in the Land of Israel who should be permitted to stay as a resident.
Of course, if you don't believe me listen to THEM say it themselves.
(Jerusalem Post) - ... Arab MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List) responded, “The attacks on him from the right-wing are hypocritical, self-righteous and ridiculous.” MK Tibi added that he, too, never sings the anthem.
“HaTikvah’s words cannot be sung by any Arab citizen,” he pointed out. “Lately we have witnessed a torrent of anti-Arab statements and this should be understood in this context,” he said.
All of the vermin must be expelled. Every minister, every cab driver, every doctor, every mechanic, every shoe salesman, every photographer, every cleric. Not one moslem of any kind, size, shape or gender should be allowed to be given residence in Israel for even a single minute. Until this is the official government policy of Israel, the JEWISH STATE will NEVER have peace.

Gaza vermin rocket Israeli towns AGAIN
(IsraelNN.com) The same day that Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah group signed onto a joint platform with Hamas, Fatah’s Al Aksa Brigades group fired five Kassam rockets toward Israeli towns in the western Negev.
The Al Aksa Brigades Fatah terror group said the five rockets it launched Thursday were aimed at Ashkelon, Sderot and the resettled community of Elei Sinai, whose residents were expelled by the government from northern Gaza almost two years ago.
The IDF said it had no knowledge of the attacks.
The move does not violate the policy statement, which seems to commit Fatah to respecting the right to use terrorism against Israel rather than the commitment by Hamas to eschew terror hoped for by the so-called Quartet of nations. "Our people have the right to defend themselves before any Israeli aggression," the platform reads.
The platform also says that such attacks will be launched until the conditions of surrender outlined here are met:
* “The right of return of Palestinian refugees"
* “Ending all forms of occupation in the Palestinian territories, including removing the racist wall, settlements and stopping the Judaization of Jerusalem."
* Concerning the Gaza ceasefire - broken more than 150 times by Arab terrorists since it was announced in late November - It will be maintained "in return for Israel's cessation of its occupation measures...such as assassinations, arrests, incursions, house demolition, clearing of lands, excavation in Jerusalem [and] lifting of checkpoints and reopening of crossing points, the ending of travel restrictions and the release of prisoners".
Some people would probably say that capitulating to these vermin is a bad idea. Any ideas on how I stand on this matter?

Deerfield High orders freshman into Gay Indoctrination
Look, if we see our lost souls who have unfortunately fallen victim to homosexuality as people who are ill and need our help and support, great. That's tolerance. We shouldn't beat them up, abuse them, or make them into laughing stocks, but we should try instead to give them all that they need to avoid falling into homosexuality for their benefit and the benefit of society as a whole.
Other neighborhood blogs I have seen recently have been championing homosexuality as some kind of beautiful choice that is no less or more harmful or destructive than heterosexuality. This is insane, just as it would be catastrophic to start saying any mental or physical illness is an equal lifestyle decision.
If someone has dementia, manic depression or schizophrenia do we punish them? No. Do we advocate those afflictions as equal to people of normal capacities and lives? Of course not! We declare war on the affliction! We do research to cure these diseases and illnesses. We as a society form charities to benefit the mentally and physically challenged and we owe it to the homosexuals to try our best to help them get well, too.
The worst is the way the advocates for homosexuality not only don't want to help reduce or end the affliction, but they PROMOTE it to our children! Can you imagine a pro-bulimia organization teaching our kids how to puke up their food? This must end!
Here what is going on at Deerfield High in Illinois. Just sick what is going on over there, but typical of how things across the country have gotten out of control and helped create an epidemic of Same-Sex Disease throughout the western world.
Worldnet Daily - Officials at Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Ill., have ordered their 14-year-old freshman class into a "gay" indoctrination seminar, after having them sign a confidentiality agreement promising not to tell their parents.
"This is unbelievable," said Matt Barber, policy director for cultural issues for Concerned Women for America. "It's not enough that students at Deerfield High are being exposed to improper and offensive material relative to unhealthy and high-risk homosexual behavior, but they've essentially been told by teachers to lie to their parents about it."
In what CWA called a "shocking and brazen act of government abuse of parental rights," the school's officials required the 14-year-olds to attend a "Gay Straight Alliance Network" panel discussion led by "gay" and "lesbian" upperclassmen during a "freshman advisory" class which "secretively featured inappropriate discussions of a sexual nature in promotion of high-risk homosexual behaviors."
"This goes to the heart of the homosexual agenda," Barber said. "The professional propagandists in the 'gay-rights' lobby know the method all too well. If you can maintain control of undeveloped and impressionable youth and spoon-feed them misinformation, lies and half-truths about dangerous, disordered and extremely risky behaviors, then you can control the future and ensure that those behaviors are not only fully accepted, but celebrated."
He said not only is forcing students to be exposed to the pro-homosexual propaganda bad enough, but then school officials further required that students sign the "confidentiality agreement" through which they promised not to tell anyone – including their own parents – about the seminar.
Forcing students to sign "confidentiality agreements" so that their parents don't get wind of the fact that they are advocating homosexuality to their children? This we must not tolerate, and is exactly why we must win the culture war against the sexual miscreants who are attempting to infect our children with disease and despair.

Knesset committee blocks ban of Islamic Movement
Jerusalem Post - More than two-thirds of the members of the Knesset House Committee walked out of a meeting of the panel on Monday to protest a bill that would ban the Islamic Movement's northern branch.
MK Yisrael Katz (Likud) had asked the committee to speed up the legislative process for the bill. At the prompting of coalition Chairman Avigdor Yitzhaki (Kadima), however, most of the lawmakers got up and left, leaving only seven of the 25 MKs in the room.
Committee Chairwoman Ruhama Avraham (Kadima) was forced to cancel the vote, since Knesset bylaws require a quorum of nine MKs.
Yitzhaki, however, told Israel Beiteinu MKs that if they supported the bill, he would punish them by delaying the appointment of MK Stas Meseznikov (Israel Beiteinu) to the Finance Committee, a move promised the party as part of the latest cabinet reshuffle.
"This bill is unconstitutional, extremist and racist, and no member of the coalition should support it," Yitzhaki said
Katz's bill would designate the Islamic Movement an "illegal corporation," outlaw fund-raising for the organization and make it impossible for them to run in national or local elections.
Katz said he had been prompted to draft the bill by the arrest of the northern branch's leader, Raad Salah, for attacking policemen at the Temple Mount.
"Just like Nasrallah became a hero after the Lebanon war, Salah became a hero in the eyes of Islamic extremists after his recent remarks and behavior," said Katz. "If we do not remove Salah from our midst, we will be building an Israeli Nasrallah with our own hands."
Olmert's selection of drunken, submissive bondage boys as his Israeli ambassadors is making more and more sense by the day. What a pathetic and embarassing state of affairs Israel has devolved into.
Olmert's ambassador found drunk, naked and wearing bondage
Oh, boy (er, bitch).
JERUSALEM — The Israeli ambassador to El Salvador has been recalled after he was found drunk, naked and bound in sexual bondage gear in his yard, an official said Monday.
Tsuriel Raphael has been removed from his post and the Foreign Ministry has begun searching for a replacement, said spokeswoman Zehavit Ben-Hillel.
Two weeks ago, El Salvador police found Raphael naked outside his residence, tied up, gagged and drunk, Israeli media reported. He was wearing several sex toys at the time, the media said. After he was untied, Raphael told police he was the ambassador of Israel, the reports said.
The British Broadcasting Corp. reported that he could identify himself to police only after a rubber ball had been removed from his mouth.
What can Olmert say? The state is already investigating him on bribery and corruption charges (though we all know the Israeli kangaroo courts will let him walk without penalty), so he doesn't have a leg to stand on morally. This is just another example of how the current state of Hellenized leftwing Jews only serves to harm the image of Jews everywhere.
I bet Ehud was choking on his rubber ball when he heard about this one. I can already picture it...
Repeat after me:
THE MOSLEMS ARE MY MASTERS, MISTRESS! - wack -
I WILL GIVE YOU LAND AND RELEASE YOUR TERRORISTS FROM JAIL, MISTRESS! - wack -
I WILL EXPEL JEWS FROM THEIR HOMES, MISTRESS! - wack -
I WILL SELL OUT JUDEA AND SAMARIA AND CREATE A MOSLEM STATE INSTEAD, MISTRESS! - wack -

Olmert: "I planned the Lebanon war all along!"
Only problem: That makes him look even more incompetent, and would likely get him arrested if the Knesset had any teeth.
Arutz Sheva - MK Eldad said that "even if we assume Olmert isn't lying, his situation is a thousand times worse after this statement. If this was the plan he okayed without checking if the Home Front was ready for implementation and the IDF was capable of carrying it out – he should be tried for criminal negligence."
According to Haaretz, Olmert told the commission headed by retired judge Eliyahu Winograd that he held a series of consultations regarding the situation in Lebanon, in January, March, April, May and on June 25th, after the abduction of Cpl. Gilad Shalit. In these sessions, he was presented with an abduction scenario similar to that which came to pass. Olmert told the commission he asked army commanders to present him with possible plans of retaliatory action and chose one that included an aerial campaign and a limited ground campaign.
Olmert said he had told the military representatives that he had no doubt Hizbullah would attempt an abduction and instructed them to make an all out effort to prevent it.
MK Eitam said Olmert played into Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah's hands when he said the war had been planned in advance.
"It turns out here that the Prime Minister and Nasrallah are coordinating their versions of what happened," Eitam said cynically. "This is precisely Nasrallah's claim, that Israel initiated the war, that the whole abduction matter was just an excuse," he explained.
Madam Olmert is in serious doo-doo, now.

Reason for optimism (sorta, kinda)
(IsraelNN.com) In probably the lowest show of support for an incumbent in the history of political polling, only 3% of the populace feel Olmert should continue to serve as Prime Minister.
OK, now for the bad news. The equally corrupt and cowardly Binyamin Netanyahu of Likud is the leading candidate to replace him in the next elections with - GASP - Labor's even more vomitous Ami Ayalon right behind him.
If elections were held now, the survey shows, Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu would receive ten times more support than Olmert - 30% of the electorate. Front-runner Netanyahu is followed by Labor's Ami Ayalon, with 18%.
And the beat goes on...

PA textbooks: Terrorism is heroism
They openly teach their children that being a terrorist is the highest level of accomplishment a vermin can achieve in moon-god allah's eyes, and that the Jews are monkeys and pigs, yet, they get away with it completely and are beloved by liberal peaceniks everywhere!
How do they do it? In Israel, a Jew is forbidden to publicly say he merely wants to see the arabs deported and placed safely in another arab country, but the vermin just let the worst fly and everyone kisses their asses. Incredible the hypocricy.
Oh, to dream of a vermin-free world.
(IsraelNN.com) Contrary to the "education for peace" that has been a fundamental demand and principle of the Oslo peace process, new 12th grade schoolbooks in the Palestinian Authority repeatedly reject Israel’s right to exist, present the Israel-PA conflict as a religious battle on behalf of Islam, and actively portray a picture of the Middle East in which Israel does not exist at all. So finds the Palestinian Media Watch organization.
The PMW report leads with this quote from a language-arts book:
“Palestine’s war ended with a catastrophe that is unprecedented in history, when the Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people from their cities, their villages, their lands and their houses, and established the State ofIsrael.” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, grade 12, p. 104 ]
In the same book, on the next page, Palestinian terror against Israel since Israel’s founding in 1948 is defined as: “resistance…acts of most glorious heroism.”
Other excerpts from PA textbooks, according to the PMW report:
“Palestine” today is a special “state” with water access to both the Mediterranean and the Red Seas - a situation possible only if Israel does not exist. Similarly, the size of the “state” of “Palestine” is said to be more than 10,000 sq. km. - a realistic figure only if Israel does not exist, as Judea, Samaria and Gaza total only 6,220 sq. km. Maps of the region likewise teach children to visualize a world without Israel, as Israel does not appear on any map and its area is marked as “Palestine.” [Physical Geography and Human Geography, grade 12, p. 105-107]
A book teaching about language states, “Palestine will be liberated by its men, its women, its young ones and its elderly.” [Arabic Language and the Science of Language, grade 12, p. 44] The PMW report explains, "Since all of Israel and all its cities are taught to be an 'occupation' of 'Palestine,' and 'Palestine' in all the school books replaces all of Israel, the [above] teaching can only mean that Israel’s destruction is inevitable.

Purim: Eat, drink and be merry!
Days of drinking and rejoicing
The festival of Purim begins this Saturday night and it is truly a most joyous and festive event that can teach us so many lessons about how we should be approaching life today in the modern world.
The Hidden God
On Purim it has become customary to dress up in costume. Why? Because even though God is never directly mentioned in Megilla Esther for His miraculous work, He is, nonetheless, ever present and His influence in making the incredible story a reality is impossible to miss. Thus, our costumes represent God's hiddenness from man in these pre-messianic times, and reminds us how, despite His lack of overt involvement in earthly events, He remains with us still in His own silent and subtle manner.
Killing the Vermin
Purim also teaches us how we are to handle those evil scum who wish to kill us. Mordechai saw to it that the Jews would wage war on those who intended to anhialate them and wiped out 75,000 wretched vermin. After that, and only after that, the Jews enjoyed their peace, freedom, feasting and, of course, drinking! In fact, it's the one day of the year in which we are not only permitted to get drunk, but are biblically commanded to get so drunk we pass out!
Of course, the Jews also were then able to begin putting the wheels in motion to build the 2nd Holy Temple and launch their return to Zion from exile. No small undertaking to say the least!
Telling the story
On Purim we remember the events by being obligated to listen to the entire Megillah Esther recited, lest we forget Who made this possible, Who can make such things possible again, and how we need to conduct ourselves in our own lives both as individuals and as a collective nation.
May all of you have a very happy and festive Purim! Drink too much, eat too much, and sleep too much!! Just remember to say your prayers, too.
Chag Semayach,
