(IsraelNN.com) The Nazareth Magistrates Court, which allowed the news to be announced on Tuesday, remanded four suspects for ten days and another one for five days, and placed a female accomplice under house arrest.

The gang is suspected of carrying out at least four rapes, abducting their victims from roadside bus stops and the like and taking them to isolated spots. The first incident occurred in April 2005, against a 13-year-old girl in Kiryat Yam, and the second and third took place eight months later - one against a 19-year-old soldier near Kiryat Ata, and another against a 16-year-old in Kiryat Bialik.

The fourth rape of which they are suspected occurred this past November outside their own mostly Moslem village of Bir Al-Maksur, in the lower Galilee 20 kilometers east of Haifa. The victim was a 25-year-old woman abducted from a bus stop.

One victim told investigators that the rapists had told her that it was in revenge for IDF operations in Gaza. This was echoed by one of the suspects during police questioning.

The way to have peace so that Jewish women and children won't be raped and killed is not by making "good will gestures" to the ideology of the rapists and murderers, but to EXPEL all who belong to the ideology of rape and murder.

The purpose of the tour was to examine first-hand the many complaints registered with the authorities over extensive desecration of graves at the site, including graffiti and smashed headstones.

Knesset Member Zevulun Orlev (National Religious Party-National Union), chairman of the State Control Committee, expressed bitterness over the destruction he saw at the ancient cemetery: "If such vandalism as the smashing of headstones and the desecration of graves had occurred in a Jewish cemetery in Europe, I am convinced that the entire Jewish world would be shocked and the law enforcement authorities would attempt to capture the guilty parties."

MK Orlev noted that, in contrast to the case of a European Jewish cemetery desecration, such "shocking phenomena" are taking place "in the heart of the capital of Israel, adjacent to the Western Wall," yet "the sovereign Jewish regime remains apathetic."

Settler butchered by moslems near Hebron

Ynet News - Erez Levanon, a resident of the Bat Ayin settlement, was murdered Sunday in a valley near the Palestinian village of Beit Omar in the West Bank, north of Hebron. Security officials believe that the murder was terror-related.

Levanon, a 42 year-old father of three was stabbed to death not far from his vehicle. Army forces have launched searches in the area in a bid to locate the perpetrators.

Palestinians reported finding the body, between Bat Ayin and Beir Omar, to the Palestinian security authorities. Security searches after suspects focused on Beit Omar and Hirbat Sapa near the wadi.

Levanon kept a routine schedule of Torah studies, and spent one hour each day at a secluded location communing with God. His friend, Rabbi Michi Yossefi, said that Levanon was apparently murdered while praying at his usual spot.

"Erez was an exemplary family man, who managed to reach a wonderful balance between his work and his home… he wasn't someone who stood out but a very modest man," Yossefi described.

There are times when we all must take a step back and ask ourselves if we are satisfied with an Israel that gives open-ended liberal freedoms to arabs who desire nothing more than to exterminate the Jews and wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

Is it morally good enough to be able to tell the UN, EU and US that, despite the rabid moslem terror which steadily and progressively jeopardizes the survival of the Jewish State, Israel will, nonetheless, continue to give "land concessions" and "good will gestures" to the very criminals who are slaughtering Jewish civilians? Have we no shame? Will we never learn from our past catastrophes that we cannot depend opon the gentile elites we're so desperately trying to please with these degrading Bojangles routines? Where is our pride? Where is our will to stand up for ourselves, to be independent, to no longer be the foolish little Jews trying to win a spot in the "popular click" by getting beat up and tormented by the moslem bullies as the westernized emperors look on with sadistic grins?

We are the Children of Israel, are we not? Enough with being the wilful, naiive victims! We must put an end to our masochistic madness, repeatedly playing the role of laughingstock sidekicks who don't have the guts or conviction to stand up and proudly fight for who we are.

Italian judge declares teen must get abortion by force

When I read this the first time I had to stop, blink my eyes, and read it again to make sure I saw it right. Let me see if I got this straight: a 13 year old girl gets pregnant and decides she wants to have the baby, but her secular humanist parents demand she kill the baby instead, and a secular humanist judge rules that her kid must be aborted by force.

Rome, Italy (LifeNews.com) -- An Italian judge has ordered a thirteen year-old girl to have an abortion because her parents are opposed to their daughter giving birth. The decision relies on laws in Italy that allow parents to make the pregnancy decisions for their teenage children.

The girl, from Torino, did not want to have an abortion but the ruling will compel her to do so.

The Italian newspaper La Stampa reports the decision has caused the teenager so much stress she has contemplated suicide and needed to receive psychological help as a result.

By 2035 equal number of Jews, Arabs in Jerusalem

Ynet News - If there is no change in the reproduction rate among Jerusalem residents, by 2035 there will be an equal number of Arabs and Jews residing in the capital, a study by the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies has found.

The institute will present the data Thursday at the opening ceremony of a lecture series to mark 40 years to the reunification of Jerusalem.

The data attained by Ynet reveals that the reproductive rate of the capital’s Arab population is double that of the Jewish population.

According to the study, 720,000 people lived in Jerusalem, of which 66 percent were Jewish (475,000) and 34 percent (245,000) were Arab.

By the year 2020, the gap is expected to narrow, with Jerusalem population expected to be 60 percent Jewish and 40 percent Arab.

Since 1967, when Jerusalem numbered 266,000 residents, its population has grown rapidly, although over the past four decades the Arab population has increased at a higher rate than the Jewish population.

Since the Six Day War, when there were 197,000 Jews in the capital, the population increased at a rate of 140 percent per year to reach 495,000. In comparison, the Arab population grew at a rate of 257 percent per year, from 68,000 in 1967 to 244,000 in 2005.

“If these trends continue, we’ll reach a situation in which the Arab population outnumbers the Jewish population,” Dr. Maya Choshen, a researcher at the institute, told Ynet.

Tel Aviv suicide bombing prevented

(IsraelNN.com) Residents of Tel Aviv, Holon, Bat Yam and Rishon Lezion held their breath Tuesday night as police alerted the public to a suicide bombing plot that was already in motion in the region. After a dragnet that lasted approximately two hours, several Palestinian Authority terrorists were apprehended by police. They confessed to the planned attack and led officers to a dumpster in Rishon Lezion where they had stashed their explosives earlier in the day.

Israel Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said that the would-be bomber and his accomplices were tracked to an apartment in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv. The group had apparently planned to send a suicide bomber into the Tel Aviv central bus station later Tuesday night.

PA Terrorists Shoot Israeli Contractor, Attack IDF Patrol

(IsraelNN.com) Earlier in the day on Tuesday, Palestinian Authority terrorists shot and lightly injured a contractor who was working on the security fence near northern Jerusalem, according to police. The man was treated by first response personnel at the scene of the shooting.

The PA-based attackers were not identified.

An IDF patrol unit also came under enemy attack on Tuesday afternoon. PA terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at the soldiers as they drove next to the southern section of the security fence that runs along the Gaza Strip. No one was hurt in the attack and no damage was reported.

Jewish truck driver killed in Samaria

(IsraelNN.com) The body of 50-year-old Oded Laniado, a Jewish truck driver, was found Monday between the villages of Shukba and Kibia, not far from Kiryat Sefer, in the Binyamin district of Samaria. Laniado, married and the father of four daughters, was found near his truck with the engine still running.

According to police reports, the Sha'arei Tikva resident was called by a scrap iron depot in the Palestinian Authority village of Shukba and was found by another truck driver who was heading the same way. The second driver, an Arab, alerted security forces.

When IDF and Binyamin police forces arrived on the scene, they found the victim lying unconscious and despite the efforts, medics were unable to resuscitate the man.

Well, I guess that's enough for one day in the Jewish State. Nice, isn't it, that Jews are the hunted victims IN ISRAEL.

What is the breaking point for Jewish self-loathing, already? Arabs should be getting rounded up for deportation as I type, but we all know nothing is really going to happen to any moslems for these crimes.

Optimistically speaking: What happens to moslems after islam is eradicated?

No, I do not think we are anywhere close to blotting out the terrorist ideology of islam from the face of the earth.

However, wiping out islam certainly must be our ultimate goal since there can be no tolerable co-existence with followers of the terrorist sexual predator "prophet" mohammed. Most educated and rational people today realize the truth, even if they don't admit it publicly. That is, only receiving total defeat at the hands of islam and becoming their dhimmi slaves, or total victory and annihilation of the vile, wicked plague infecting civilization, are viable options.

So the question I pose is this: Once we have someday, God willing, wiped out mohammed's memory from the face of the earth, what do we fill the criminal, violent minds of islam's one-time followers in its absence. I mean, we know some religious faith is necessary for them, and we also know they will not likely turn to Judaism or Christianity, so what will become of them?

Anyone?

I say we either, A. Leave it up to them to study religions that are approved for dissemination and choose one that we find acceptable; B. Give them the noahide code to follow and leave it at that, or, C. Just totally rewrite islam and transform it into a civilized and non-violent religion.

Moslems and leftists vandalize Jewish holy objects in Hevron

(IsraelNN.com) For the third time this month alone, sacred Jewish objects were vandalized and desecrated by Arabs and left-wing activists in Hevron over the Sabbath.

Sunday morning, residents discovered dozens of pages of Psalm books that had been torn apart and scattered on the road near the Sephardic Jewish cemetery by Hevron’s Tel Rumeida neighborhood. Tel Rumeida has been targeted by left-wing groups for removal and is the site of frequent provocations.

Last week, the Tomb of Ruth and Jesse (King David’s father and grandmother) was vandalized. The eternal light there was destroyed and the holy ark damaged by vandals attempting to pry it open to reach the Torah scrolls contained therein. Charity boxes were stolen as well.

Earlier this month, graves in the same Jewish cemetery the torn Psalms were found near were desecrated, with gravestones strewn about and paint spilled on some of them.

“The police and army have yet to apprehend anyone for any of these crimes,” said a community statement. “This is another incident in a continuing pattern of desecrations of holy sites and articles in Hevron over the past few weeks. Hevron's Jewish community is gravely concerned at the police negligence in dealing with such criminal acts of violence and desecration of Jewish holy sites. Especially noticeable is the disparity between the police action against Jews and their lack of response at Arab crime.”

The subject of discrimination and law enforcement in Hevron - over-enforcement against the Jews and lack of enforcement against the Arabs - was discussed in the Knesset committee for law and legislation last week.

If Hevron is off limits to Jews than we really can't justify having this phony Israel exist at all. Hevron is the city of our patriarchs for crying out loud. The moslems and their useful idiot liberals are simply not compatible with a Jewish State, and it is imperative that they be removed with great prejudice.

Wow. Hard to believe as it is for me, I officially hit the big 40 today. For all the ranting I enjoy doing at this website, every once-in-awhile I like to throw out a softer and more personal post to let you see me in a different light.

Hitting 40, one can't help but evaluate how life seems to be progressing. Let me tell you, it has been one hell of a wild ride over the past 5 years, as I met my wife, got engaged, got married, became religious, had a baby girl, had a baby boy, bought a house, got new cars, and changed careers twice (so far), just for starters.

Whew!

Ultimately, I hope you can see that I consider myself very blessed and very thankful to God for all the nachas He has given me. Back when I turned 35, I never could have imagined the changes in my life that were about to happen.

I'm not going to get too sappy, so let me change gears and tell you that turning 40 is an incredible birthday experience. 40 means I am no longer a kid; I can't get away with using youth as an excuse; I'm older than nearly all the professional athletes; I'm losing some hair; getting a bigger belly, and wondering how just a blink of an eye ago I was a kid growing up in Buffalo and now I'm suddenly friggin 40 years old!

Anyway, as the song above by Jimmy Buffet says, sometimes I feel a bit lost and displaced. Part of me is deeply saddened that I'm not living in Israel performing my obligations as a Jew to settle the land. I want to be there, my real homeland, doing whatever it takes, yes whatever it takes, to rid the Land of the islamic filth that has infected Israel and terrorized my kin.

On the other hand, I love it here in South Florida. I love where I am living and the wonderful life I have built here. Family, friends, community...it's just a fantastic place to be, I must say.

The part about being drunk for over two weeks? Well, I certainly expect to at least do my part at my party Saturday night, and then with Purim just over two weeks away when I will be most definitely wasted again, I guess you could say that perhaps that part of Buffet's tune will hold true in a sense, as well.

Anyway, I just wanted to do a brief little bit of reflection to try and let you get a little more acquainted with MZ, and maybe bring us a step closer in the process.

Islam: misunderstood or a terrorist organization?

Everyday in the news we see fresh reports of moslem terror somewhere in the world as consistently as we see the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. We have come to accept the fact that each and every day we can't get 3 pages into the newspaper without reports of islamic suicide bombers, car bombers, roadside bombers, infidel beheadings, honor killings, acts of genocide, stabbings, kidnappings, etc, etc.

Look at all the major international conflicts in the world today. Look at the arab world. Look at host nations in the west getting torn up from within by insurgent jihadists. Look at the rogue nations that are creating tensions. Look at every country that is islamic and see whether they are terrorist or not. Look at every prominent imam, sheik, ayatollah and mullah and notice how the one factor that is consistent is that they are preaching jihad, Jew-hating, death to Israel, and death to America.

Of course, they are also more than willing to slaughter one another, too, the minute they run out of tasty infidels to murder.

With all of the evidence to show that islam is truly unique as a "religion" in their blood-lust and call to violent conquest, the question that begs for us to answer is whether islam is a peaceful religion being corrupted by a few bad apples (the MSM opinion), or if what we see is real and islam is, in fact, a terrorist organization (MZ's opinion).

This is the burning issue of our time, and it begs for real answers, so I will leave this question to you, the reader. Is islam peaceful but getting a bum rap by neocons and the religious right, or, is it the brutal, evil , sadistic, criminal ideology us keen observers clearly understand it to be?

Moslem terrorist filth kills 6 in Utah mall

If you haven't heard by now, an immigrant moslem pile of crap went into a mall in Salt Lake City and started shooting civilians. Oh, sure, you may have heard that a "teen" went "crazy" in a "tragic isolated incident", but absolutely none of the reports that came out after the shooting told the truth: that it wasn't a "random" or "isolated" gunman, but a good, religious moslem simply following the orders and principles taught in the Koran.

Amazing how we have become such dhimmis here in America that we can't even identify a terrorist moslem as a moslem. The "M" word is totally off limits, as if his being islamic is completely irrelevent to the terrorist crime that was just committed.

Sulejmen Talovic, an 18 year old moslem immigrant from Bosnia, was only doing what mohammed told him to do at that mall: slaughtering infidels in allah's name. Yet, we are led to believe some "teen gunman" opened fire for "no apparent reason" and that he was reportedly "a good boy" who just temporarily "lost it".

Yes, the same reason that on July 28th, 2006 a "gunman" who was "clearly out of his mind" opened fire on the Jewish Federation of Seattle, killing one and wounding many others.

JERUSALEM – Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's decision to allow Muslims to construct a massive minaret on the Temple Mount will embolden the enemies of the Jewish state and signal that violence and terrorism are working, according to a group of prominent rabbinic leaders in Israel.

The Rabbinical Congress for Peace, a coalition of more than 300 Israeli rabbinic leaders and pulpit rabbis, said in a statement today Olmert "does not have the moral or historic right to hand over even one inch of Israeli territory to foreigners."

"The mere fact of giving up sovereignty of the Temple Mount – the holiest site of the Jewish People – is an indication of how far the Israeli government has deteriorated and is prepared to forfeit Jewish rights and ownership of Israel granted in our holy Torah, the most authoritative book in the world," the rabbis said.

The rabbis were responding to a story first reported by WND that Olmert granted permission to Jordan to construct a large minaret at a site on the Temple Mount where Jewish groups here had petitioned to build a synagogue.

A top leader of the Waqf told WND Olmert's granting of permission to build the minaret in the synagogue's place "confirms 100-percent the Haram al-Sharif (Temple Mount) belongs to Muslims."

"This proves Jewish conspiracies for a synagogue will never succeed and solidifies our presence here. It will make Muslims worldwide more secure that the Jews will never take over the Haram al-Sharif," the Waqf official said.

Breaking News: Israel haults bridge repairs on Temple Mount to "ease moslem anger"

Dhimmis will be dhimmis. Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski has officially suspended work on the Temple Mount following Friday's riots by the islamic vermin. During those riots, if you recall, packs of wild moslems stoned innocent Jews who were saying prayers before Shabbos at the Western Wall below.

Ynet News: Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski suspended late Sunday night construction of a pavement at the Mugrabi Gate in a bid to douse Muslim anger at renovation work near the Temple Mount.

Muslim leaders fear the deployment of heavy machinery near the Mount could damage the foundations of the al-Aqsa Mosque, with some saying the renovation work is an act of provocation by Israel . Israel has rejected these claims.

Lupoliansky said he hoped for an "ease in tensions in Jerusalem. I believe that cooperation in Jerusalem can bring about coexistence, without mutual disregard."

Why do I suspect that this "good will gesture" to the moslem filth will go unappreciated? Is it a 6th sense? Am I some kind of prophet? Time will tell, but my powers of seeing the future reveal that the vermin will simply continue trying to kill the Jews and wipe Israel off the map just as before.

Ten Commandments - How do you stack up?

This past Shabbos at synagogues throughout the world Jews stood and listened as the Ten Commandments were read from this week's Torah portion: Yisro. The fact that it was a collective revelation given by God to the Children of Israel at Sinai over 3,000 years ago is not merely a miraculous and unique experience for mankind, but perhaps also the most defining moment of all for the Jewish nation.

Of course, as we all know, the wonder and splendor of this collective revelation wore off quickly, as the Jews soon after panicked after Moshe ascended to Sinai to receive the entirety of the Torah from God and hadn't returned. In his absence the Jews were so shaken that they turned to the hedonism and idol worship that had been so prevalent back in Egypt before the Exodus.

What does this tell us? It tells us that we are innately quick to lose faith in what we can't see, smell, taste, touch, or hear. We seemingly require constant interaction with or from the Source at all times to maintain our faith, even in this extreme case when God's revelation was given just 40 days earlier!

Therefore, one of the most significant Torah lessons we can take from this sequence of events is how critical it is to stay connected with Torah and our obligations on a daily basis. If we could stray just 40 days after God Himself speaks to us, how long would it take for us to stray today, when God's presence is far more hidden and the temptations to lead a Godless and meaningless life screams on every billboard, every television program, every magazine and every newspaper that we encounter?

The fact is, we must take Torah's lesson of the Ten Commandments revelation and subsequent fall to debauchery seriously enough to realize that because we are so weak and vulnerable when left on our own we need to cling to His words and His truth daily lest we get helplessly swept away in an ocean of internet porn and reality TV.

With that in mind, I will post the only Top Ten List that really matters. See how well you are stacking up and where you are coming up short.

Breaking News: Islamic vermin rioting on Temple Mount

Arutz Sheva - Arabs rioted Friday on and around the Temple Mount, wounding police officers and causing the evacuation of the Western Wall prayer plaza.

Stones were thrown at worshipers and police Friday, despite the decision to limit entry to the Temple Mount to Muslims over the age of 45. Three police officers were wounded by rioters.

Young rioters pelted police with stones and then took cover inside the Al-Aksa Mosque. Security sources said the youths had probably holed up inside the mosque earlier this week, and waited for Friday to begin rioting. Police refrained from entering the mosque due to concerns that it would serve Muslim propoganda efforts and claims that Israel is seeking to destroy it.

3,000 members of the security forces were standing by in expectation of Arab violence as a result of calls for an Israeli-Arab Intifada by Muslim leaders. The calls come in response to the repair and replacement of the Rambam (Mughrabi) Gate walkway, which was in danger of collapse.

I know this is crazy talk, but has anyone ever suggested that maybe, just maybe, the moslems should be deported?

Montreal hosts World Anti-Israel Week

Isn't it remarkable that a friggin arab-Israeli MK is coming to Montreal from Israel to speak about how Israel is an apartheid state? If ISrael was run by someone with even a half of a brain in his head, and half of a testicle on his body, than that MK would not be permitted back in Israel ever again.

How is this different than the Holocaust denial conference, by the way? Israel is a weak, leftist, passive country getting brutally beat up by angry moslems from within and from without, but still the anti-semitic liberals have to create pro-Palestinian week to call for the end of the Jewish State??

“Israeli Apartheid Week” will take place for the third consecutive year starting next Monday through to Saturday. Israeli-Arab MK Jamal Zahalka was invited to speak at one of the events marking the week in Montréal on Thursday.

“Calling the occupation apartheid isn’t an overstatement, it’s an understatement,” Zahalka told Ynet, “The Israeli occupation in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are worse than apartheid.”

“Israel Apartheid Week” will be comprised of several events including lectures, informational booths, cultural events, film screenings and demonstrations held at various North American and European campuses.

Organizer’s of the events said on the week’s official website , “The past few years have seen an explosion of literature and analysis that has placed Israel alongside other settler-colonial states like South Africa, arguing that Israel is in fact an apartheid state, not just a belligerent occupying power.”

According to the organizers, the week’s goal was to “push forward the analysis of Israel as an apartheid state and to bolster support for the boycott, divestment, and sanctions campaign in accordance with the demands outlined in the July 2005 Statement: full equality for Arab citizens of Israel, an end to the occupation and colonization of the West Bank and Gaza, and the implementation of the right of return and compensation for Palestinian refugees pursuant to UN resolution 194.”

Funny, isn't it, that the scumbags at this event are considered "peace activists", while settlers who live as Jews in Judea, minding their own business, are hated, beaten and expelled just because they observe Judaism?

Palestinian and Israeli security sources said 10 trucks filled with U.S. weapons were transported Sunday night from Egypt through the Kerem Shalom crossing into Israel and from there delivered by an Israeli Defense Forces convoy to Fatah security officials in the Gaza Strip.

The American weapons shipment, the sources said, contained assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, more than 500,000 rounds of ammunition and bullet-proof vests.

Somebody, please, anybody, tell me how making the sworn enemies of Israel stronger benefits Israel? Note: Do not even try and tell me that they will only be using those weapons against terrorists.

HA! Radical Frisco Mayor off to rehab

In the category of, "bahahahah!", radical leftwing mayor Gavin Newsome gets busted for banging the wife of his campaign manager. Yes, Newsome is following the official Congressman Foley playbook of getting caught for lewd and immoral behavior and immediately running off to rehab to try and cover it up. Newsome, who broke California law to authorize gay marriage, and then called for the US government to eliminate the military, is not fooling anyone with this ridiculous stunt.

Jerusalem Post - Mayor Gavin Newsom said that he plans to seek counseling for alcohol use, following the disclosure that he had an affair with the wife of a veteran aide.

Newsom, 39, said that although "my problems with alcohol are not an excuse for my personal lapses in judgment," he had stopped drinking and wanted professional help staying sober.

"Upon reflection with friends and family this weekend, I have come to the conclusion that I will be a better person without alcohol in my life," Newsom said in a statement.

Newsom last week acknowledged a sexual relationship with former secretary Ruby Rippey-Tourk, the wife of his now-former campaign manager, Alex Tourk.

Uh, yeah, rehab for alcohol... That's what you do to explain doing your campaign managers wife!

Is atheism a religion?

Israel is facing terrible threats from within and without largely because they have become Hellenized and rejected Torah.

Along these lines, I see that today's atheists are becoming more and more militant and aggressive in seeking out converts. I find it fascinating that people can have such blind faith in the idea that God absolutely, positively does not exist despite the fact that it is impossible to scientifically measure if an all-powerful, all-knowing God greater than our ability to measure or comprehend exists or not.

I submit that anyone who has absolute faith in the impossibility of God's existence either has a mental disorder from a past terrible, traumatic religious experience, or, is somewhat of a lemming who became brainwashed by another atheist and follows what they say like an obedient dog.

Perhaps you agree, or maybe you feel differently, but either way I'll be interested to see what you have to say!

Why do you think Israel should exist?

I would like this post to focus on you, the reader. I am trying for the life of me to understand why anyone thinks Israel should exist if NOT because it is our biblical obligation as Jews to settle the Land of Israel as an eternal inheritance given to us by God.

There are many answers with terrible holes that I will vigorously shred:

1. We need a homeland as a safe-haven from anti-Semitic persecution.

2. It is where Jews historically came from before being dispersed 2000 years ago.

3. We need a homeland to show the world how good and decent of a people we really are.

4. Israel is the only Western-style democracy in the Middle East, so we need it strategically.

5. The Jews deserve something for all that they have been through.

I am really looking forward to seeing what you, the reader, has to say. After all, MZ loves a good debate!

US to expand PLO military power

Just what Jewish civilians in Israel wanted to hear. The entire Fatah terrorist organization, or PLO, an organization dedicated to destroying Israel and wiping out all the Jews, is now going to be provided massive support and training by the US in an effort to build up their military capabilities from a disorganized militia to a full-fledged army.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The United States is considering expanding assistance beyond Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's presidential guard to members of the largest force under his command, Western and Palestinian officials said.

Providing U.S. funds to train elements of Abbas's National Security Forces (NSF), in addition to the presidential guard, could increase U.S. involvement in the violent power struggle between Abbas's Fatah faction and the governing Hamas movement.

Officials said members of the NSF would undergo a review process to ensure they are qualified and have no ties to militant groups before undergoing the training.

"They need a lot of work," said a Palestinian security source who has been involved in evaluating the forces.

President Bush has committed $86 million to provide training and non-lethal equipment to forces loyal to Abbas. Guns and ammunition are being supplied by key U.S. allies Jordan and Egypt, with Israeli approval, Israeli officials say.
