In fact, much to the disgust of moderates and rightwingers alike, he has steadfastly refused to pull the trigger on using the military ground forces he's mobilized at the Gaza border, and is even negotiating with the terrorists who kidnapped an IDF soldier against the wishes of most Israelis.
Even as the moslems continue dropping Qassam rockets every day on Sderot, and, for the first time, all the way up into Ashkelon, the French still are telling the Jews to release all the Hamas officials they arrested, and essentially to "just take it and like it" when the terrorist vermin strike.
Jerusalem Post - France called on Israel on Friday to free arrested Hamas ministers and said both sides must move to reduce escalating tensions. How the Islamic Republic of France, who suffers from wild packs of moslems burning hundreds of cars every night without opposition, can feel justified telling Israel how to handle their moslem problems is beyond me. I certainly don't remember Israel telling the French how they need to handle their filthy moslems. Time for Jacque and company to shut up, take a shower, and mind their own damn business.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Jean-Baptiste Mattei said France fears that the situation will "feed an escalation and strengthen the most extreme elements, which is doubtless not Israel's objective."
France does not want the situation to lead to "the weakening and, even less so, the disappearance of the Palestinian Authority," Mattei said.
"The Israelis must be very vigilant about the consequences of their actions," the spokesman said during a regular press briefing, adding that Israeli restraint in the situation "is desirable."
"A de-escalation must be started," Mattei said.
Israel is far more powerful than France, and certainly doesn't need to answer to them about terrorism, national security, or anything else for that matter.
